Quality & Improvement

Quality & Performance Improvement
Healthcare has multiple non-standardized and variable inputs, non-repetitive operations, unpredictable demand peaks, and high worker discretion, which leads to high rates of costly variability, errors, and inefficiencies. Our team has experience improving quality and performance.
Performance and quality improvement do not occur by accident. They require intelligent and deliberate effort, and a structured process, framekwork, and infrastructure that encourages care team engagement and ownerhsip. Lean six sigma, and other continuous improvement and change management frameworks, provide the strcutre required to sustain and scale improvements made.
As your data-driven partner, our goal is to make the right thing the easy thing to do by engaging those who touch the process, leveraging data to identify and prioritize opportunities, analyze root cause, and pivot interventions to drive improvement and close gaps in care - from reducing infections, falls, and wrong surgeries in the acute care setting to improving HEDIS quality measures and STAR ratings in the primary care setting.
As payers and consumers demand demonstrated value, threaded throughout every strategy are activities and models that align with value-based payment models, either exisiting or forecasted.
Our improvement philosophy is guidied by the beleif that improvement initiatives must engage those who touch the patient in-person or virtually.
